CNC Programmer / Setup

CNC programming/setup opportunity requiring at least two years of hands-on CAMWorks experience. Prior five-axis experience is not required; candidates able to transition into that work may be considered.

About the opportunity

This hands-on CNC Programmer/Setup opportunity requires at least two years of CNC programming experience specifically using CAMWorks. Candidates do not need prior five-axis experience if they can transition into that work.

The employer is specifically requiring CAMWorks expertise. Mastercam does not satisfy the CAM requirement for this search.

Relocation: No employer-paid relocation assistance, sign-on bonus or other additional compensation was offered for this search.

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of hands-on CNC programming experience specifically with CAMWorks.
Must know CAMWorks and be very familiar with it. Mastercam is not a substitute for this requirement.
CNC programming and setup capability, with the ability to transition into five-axis work. Prior five-axis programming experience is not required.
Must be familiar with HAAS CNC controls.
Very strong fixture-design experience.
Very strong experience with materials such as titanium and stainless steels.

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

Familiarity with the HAAS DS-30Y is a plus.
